A twist on traditional tomato based salsas, this one is packed full of fresh cucumber, sweet mango, cilantro, and squeezed limes. This is AMAZING paired with fresh grilled salmon. I like to put a heaping spoonful over the top.

Bone broth is packed full of minerals and protein. Plus, is super easy to make! You just throw everything in the crockpot and walk away! I have been drinking 8-12 ounces of this every morning to help heal my digestive system and balance my blood sugar levels.
I don't know why I was always afraid to make french fries, but I decided to face my fears and what do you know, it was nothing to be afraid of! So easy and delicious! I fried the potatoes in extra light olive oil and a simple seasoning blend. You could easily make with sweet potatoes instead of regular if you wanted to. I included step by step instructions for those of you that may be french frying for the first time!
One of our friends made these for us before dinner one night, and I swear I must have eaten 15 of them. In 3 minutes. They are so good! I asked for the recipe, and altered it ever so slightly to my tastes. They are always a hit when I make them!
Crispy, golden perfection should be the true name for these delectable potatoes. A dash of creole seasoning gives these fries the subtle kick they need. We ate them with our chicken burgers. The perfect match!
"Potatoes" sounded too sophisticated. These certainly aren't snooty, what with skins left on and enough butter to make your mother gasp, but can you say heaven in a dish? They certainly are. Creamy, delicious perfection. I live for good mashed potatoes.
These green beans are dirty. The slut of all green beans. Tossed with bacon, onion, butter….If I had nothing else to live for, these would be it. Period.
Damn these are good.
I can and will eat this whole bowl with a spoon.
It is a sin to roast a chicken and not make broth a day or two after. What a waste! There is so much goodness still left! (I probably sound like your mom) But it's the truth! Simple, nutritious, and useful!
I tried to recreate this delicious appetizer from a fancy restaurant we went to a few weeks ago. I think I came pretty dang close. The flavors are incredible. Have I mentioned that I LOVE FOOD?!!!
I cannot get enough of summer grilling. I am loving it! Zucchini smothered in a homemade garlic herb butter with parmesan cheese melted on top. Mmmmm.......
This is a simple and versatile side dish that can go easily with a main dish of chicken, beef, or sausage. It is full of flavor and healthy ingredients!!
For the life of me, I have not been able to find store-bought pizza sauce that is healthy and satisfies my tastebuds. There always seems to be something missing, in my opinion. So....here is my take on it - and I must say, it is very tasty!
This side dish is SO GOOD. A perfect complement to a good chicken dinner when company comes over.
Hold on...don't disqualify this side dish because is says "chard." I wasn't sure about it at first either, but it is pretty tasty and SO healthy for you!
I have tried numerous times to take a picture of this dip, but it is gone too quick!!!! A good sign I guess.... it is extremely tasty and has a spicy kick.
It is very hard to take a flattering picture of spring rolls! :) But I guarantee, they taste fantastic! Every asian restaurant makes them a little different, so here is my take on these delicious appetizers. A little work, but worth the effort!
Fresh is the word I am looking for. My husband can always tell when I am making this salsa because of the fresh and fragrant cilantro, tomatoes, and lime juice. SO yummy, & healthy for you too!
Simple, easy, & affordable. The perfect appetizer, but we even eat these sometimes as a meal!
A perfect side dish to accompany grilled steak or other meat, that is light & refreshing.
A bit of work, but worth every effort! Baked potato mixed with sour cream & cheese, then thrown back into the oven to bake into a cheesy, creamy delight.
A summertime favorite! Fresh veggies marinated in olive oil, teriyaki, garlic, & herbs.
This is the perfect side dish to accompany chicken, steak, pot roast, you name it! Baby red potatoes drizzled in olive oil, garlic, & fresh rosemary.
Simple, easy, delicious, and far better than store-bought!
This green bean casserole will have you asking for seconds, and thirds, and.......!!!! My sister gave me the recipe a few years ago. Perfect for Thanksgiving Dinner!
This basic chicken gravy is perfect for almost anything! Throw it over rice, potatoes, or use as a base in chicken pot pie.
