Cranberry Lime Party Punch
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Makes Enough For: 15-25 person party
1 lime
2 tablespoons sugar
2 oranges
2 cans frozen limeade concentrate
1 can filtered water
2 2 liter bottles cranberry ginger ale
The Night Before the Party:
Wash and slice lime into thin, whole rings. Put into small tupperware and toss with sugar. Cover and put in fridge. Wash outside of oranges and slice into quarters. Put slices in ziplock bag and put into freezer.
Minutes Before Party:
In a 5 gallon punch bowl add both cans of frozen limeade to bottom. Crush with a whisk to smooth. Add 1 can filtered water, stir. Put frozen oranges and limes in punch bowl. Slowly add both bottles ginger ale to punch bowl. Stir gently. Enjoy!!
*Note from the cook: The reason I freeze the oranges is so that they act as "ice cubes" without watering down the punch. It also adds a crisp and refreshing flavor to the punch.
