Chocolate Chip Cookies

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time: 8 minutes per batch
Makes: 30-34 cookies
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 sticks (1 cup) refrigerated butter
12 ounce package semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a pan, melt butter halfway over medium heat. (Meaning: When half or a little more of each stick of butter is melted, remove from heat and set aside).
In a medium size bowl combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
Using a kitchen aide with the whisk attachment, blend brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and butter until smooth and creamy. Add eggs and blend until smooth. Remove whisk attachment and replace with dough attachment. Add flour mixture, blending at medium speed for about 30 seconds, then add chocolate chips and blend just until combined. (See picture below).
On an ungreased baking sheet, drop cookie dough by tablespoon using your finger; 4 to a row and 12 to each baking sheet. Leave in clumps. (also see below).
Bake one cookie sheet at time for 8 minutes each. Remove and cool 10 minutes, then transfer to a plate or tray. Enjoy!!!!
*Note: Put dough in refrigerator in-between cooking each batch.
