Baked Apples
Serves: 2
Prep time: 15 minutes
Bake time: 40-60 minutes
2 apples (I recommend honey crisp or fuji)
2 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup water
Sprinkling of cinnamon
Whip cream (homemade & organic is always the best!)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wash apples & cut them in half.
Remove core carefully. Put apples in a lightly greased baking dish; pour water into bottom of dish around apples.
Put small dab of butter in center of each apple; sprinkle brown sugar & cinnamon and cover.
Bake in 350 oven for 40-60 minutes, or until apples are soft. When they are done, remove lid and cool for 10 minutes. Load 'em up with whip cream & enjoy!
NOTE: As a personal preference, I do not like raisins or nuts in this dish, but feel free to add them if you wish.
